Student Curriculum Vitae

How to write a curriculum vitae for students?

List most recent education or experience first and work your way backwards. Shift institute or university names, titles, and descriptions to the left. Shift location and dates to the right. Use the bolded and italicized feature judicially. Determine the order of sections by listing the most relevant or important sections first. For a student, list education first. Then if you have won a grant award, that should go second. Receiving grant awards is super important and you want that to stand out so list it before you get into your research experience. Then the third most important is your research experience, which you will want to list all of your experiences. Below are the different sections of a curriculum vitae, only include the ones that are relevant to you and rearrange as you see fit.
